Kiteboarding and watersports have always been important to me and I have always wanted to share my passions with others. One of the ways I have done this is through Windvibes.
The 9th Windvibes will be held on 5th July 2015 – Long Bay Beach, Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands.
Since the age of 13, I have been the main organiser of the only kiteboarding event in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Through the guidance and help of others, I have ran Windvibes for seven consecutive years. What initially started as a small competition with only 7 participants and a simple desire to share my love of kiteboarding, has now become the largest watersports event and beach party in the Turks & Caicos Islands.
Windvibes annually attracts hundreds of spectators.
Windvibes showcases and promotes kiteboarding and the water lifestyle through a fun family beach day. As an amateur event, it is very inclusive to participants of all abilities with events for men, women and children, and everyone is encouraged to join in the fun. The beautiful beach and water of Long Bay is the perfect backdrop for all the activities.
